Common questions
How do I set up the prayer gate? Open PrayerGate, go to the Gate tab, tap "Choose apps to gate," and pick the apps you want a pause in front of. Grant the Screen Time permission when asked. When you next open one of those apps, a verse and a short prayer appear; finish it to unlock for your chosen window.
How do I add the lock-screen widget? Touch and hold your lock screen, tap Customize, choose the lock screen, tap the widget area, and add PrayerGate. The daily verse then rides your lock screen.
How do I cancel my subscription? On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → PrayerGate → Cancel Subscription. Our cancel button actually works, and we send a reminder before any free trial converts.
Is there a free plan? No. PrayerGate is a paid app with a 3-day free trial, then an annual or monthly subscription. You can cancel anytime, and the cancel button actually works.
What about my privacy? Prayers are curated content bundled in the app, and your mood selection stays on your device. We don't sell data, run ad trackers, or send your inputs to an AI service. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
