This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and Wandering Castle LLC (a Wyoming single-member limited liability company in the United States) and governs your use of the PrayerGate application ("the App"). It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where the App is obtained through the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA") also applies, and to the extent of any conflict for App Store users, the Apple Standard EULA governs the license terms. The English-language text is the sole authoritative, controlling, and governing version of this EULA; any translation is provided for convenience only, and in the event of any conflict, ambiguity, or difference in interpretation the English version governs and prevails, except where the mandatory law of your country of residence requires your local language to be used or to prevail, and only to that extent.
1. License grant
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use one copy of the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with this EULA, the Terms, and the usage rules of the app store you obtained it from.
2. Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, or lease the App; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except to the extent applicable law expressly permits; remove or alter any proprietary notices; or use the App to build a competing product. You may not use the App to coerce another person's device usage or to harass or harm others.
3. Ownership
The App is licensed, not sold. Wandering Castle LLC and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the App, its code, design, brand, and original content. The App uses the King James Version (English, public domain) and the Reina-Valera 1909 (Spanish, public domain), and the Bíblia Livre (Portuguese), which is © Diego Santos, Mário Sérgio and Marco Teles and licensed under CC BY 4.0, used with attribution. Devotional sources are public domain or used with permission.
4. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Paid features are provided through auto-renewing subscriptions billed by the app store, as described in the Terms of Service. Your purchase and any refunds are governed by the store's terms and your mandatory consumer rights.
5. No warranty; limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows, and we do not exclude liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law. The App is a devotional and habit tool and is not a medical, mental-health, counseling, or emergency service.
6. Apple-specific terms
For App Store users: this EULA is between you and Wandering Castle LLC only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or to address any claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US-government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and you are not on a US-government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
7. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the App and delete it. Sections on ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive.
8. Governing law, dispute resolution, and contact
This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer law in your country of residence. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this EULA is subject to the binding individual arbitration and class-action waiver in our Terms of Service, including its 30-day opt-out and its small-claims and intellectual-property carve-outs; that section applies only where enforceable and does not apply where your local mandatory consumer law (for example, in Brazil under the Consumer Defense Code, or in Mexico under the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor) makes it unenforceable.
