PrayerGate is operated by Wandering Castle LLC. You can delete your data at any time. PrayerGate uses anonymous sign-in, so there is no email or username to remove, only the small amount of data tied to your anonymous ID.
Delete in the app (fastest)
Open PrayerGate, go to Settings → Privacy and data → Delete my data, and confirm. This erases your data from our systems.
Delete by request
If you have removed the app or cannot access it, email support@getprayergate.com from any address with the subject "Delete my data." If you still have the app, include your in-app anonymous ID (Settings shows it) so we can find your records; without it we may be unable to locate anonymous data. We action verified requests promptly, within 30 days at the latest.
What is deleted
- Your content preferences (language, denomination, translation, reminders, goals).
- Your streak and prayer-completion history.
- Your anonymous user ID and any feedback you sent us.
What is kept, and why
- The most sensitive things you typed (free text, the name of someone you prayed for) were never sent to us, so there is nothing on our side to delete.
- Subscription and billing records are held by Apple or Google and may be retained by them, and by us in limited form, as required by tax and accounting law. Manage your subscription in your Apple or Google account.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on the normal backup rotation.
